Oro Valley’s Youth Advisory Council Hosts Finance Workshops for Teens and Parents

The Town of Oro Valley’s Youth Advisory Council is rolling out a series of finance workshops designed especially for teenagers and their parents or guardians. But don’t worry—everyone’s welcome, no matter your age.

These workshops are completely free and will run from 2-3 p.m. A seasoned financial advisor with more than 20 years of experience will lead the sessions. Here’s what’s coming up:

– Saturday, March 18: Learn how to make a budget and use a checkbook at the Oro Valley Public Library, located at 1305 W. Naranja Drive.

– Saturday, April 22: Discover ways to pay for college at the Oro Valley Public Library, 1305 W. Naranja Drive.

– Saturday, May 6: Get tips on how to think like a businessperson at the Oro Valley Council Chambers, 11000 N. La Cañada Drive.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Jessica Hynd at 520-229-4711 or via email at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).
