Oro Valley Welcomes Your Input on Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve Plan

The Town of Oro Valley is inviting residents to share their thoughts on the draft design for the Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve. This plan is a result of extensive community input gathered from meetings held between October 4, 2022, and January 20. The dedicated team from Sites Southwest has worked hard to incorporate your ideas and suggestions.

The draft design not only highlights existing features but also proposes exciting new additions. Imagine a demonstration garden, a special area for stargazing, and beautiful constructed wetlands. Interested in seeing the details? You can check out the draft concept design here. Have feedback? Feel free to email your thoughts to Liz Cole at [email protected] by February 10.

After gathering community feedback, the first draft of the Master Plan will be shared with the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (PRAB) on February 21, followed by a review with the Town Council on March 15. There will be further opportunities to provide input at these meetings. The final draft is expected to be presented to PRAB on April 18 and to the Town Council on May 3. The Preserve is open from dawn to dusk, with temporary parking available at 945 W. Vistoso Highlands Drive.
