Tragic Incident in Oro Valley
In the early hours of today, a tragic event unfolded in our community. Caitlin Flanagan, a young woman just 19 years old, was found deceased in Oro Valley.
This morning, around 3:51 a.m., the Tucson Police Department alerted all local agencies to look out for Caitlin and her vehicle. An officer from the Oro Valley Police Department located her car in the parking lot at 8950 North Oracle Road. Upon searching the area, officers discovered Caitlin on a second-floor exterior patio, sadly confirming her death.
The Oro Valley Police Criminal Investigations Unit was quick to respond. They processed the scene and examined video footage. At this time, the death seems to be accidental, but the investigation is still ongoing. We will share more details as they come to light.
