Suspicious Encounter in Oro Valley: Police Seek Public’s Help
On the morning of August 24, 2018, a concerning incident occurred in Oro Valley. At around 8 a.m., the Oro Valley Police Department received a report of a suspicious person near La Cholla and Limewood.
A 15-year-old girl waiting for her school bus was approached by an older man who offered her a ride. She wisely declined, and the man drove off westbound on Limewood. The girl’s mother, watching from a short distance away, witnessed the brief encounter.
The man in question is described as an older white male with white hair, wearing a white t-shirt. He was seen driving a white, four-door Prius. Despite a thorough search, officers were unable to locate him or the vehicle.
