Press Release

Oro Valley: November HiVE Patrols for Safer Streets

The Oro Valley Police Department is stepping up its efforts to keep our roads safe this November. As part of their “High Visibility Enforcement” (HiVE) initiative, they’ll be focusing on Oracle Road and Magee Road. The goal? To raise awareness and cut down on accidents caused by speeding, not paying attention, tailgating, and failing to yield.

You’ll see more motorcycle officers and traffic units out and about. They’ll be particularly active on the following dates:

– Tuesday, November 12, 2019, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
– Thursday, November 14, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
– Thursday, November 21, 2019

So, if you’re driving around those areas, keep your eyes peeled and drive safely. If you have any questions or concerns about traffic issues in Oro Valley, feel free to reach out to Lt. John Teachout at 229-4923.
