Roche Tissue Diagnostics Celebrates 40 Years in Oro Valley
It’s a milestone year for Roche Tissue Diagnostics here in Oro Valley! Since opening its doors in 2001, the company, formerly known as Ventana Medical Systems, has been a vital part of our community.

This commitment has been a big deal for Oro Valley, attracting top talent and providing job opportunities right here in our hometown.
Recently, Roche expanded its campus, adding a new building to support its personalized healthcare business. This growth not only boosts our local economy but also strengthens Oro Valley’s role as a hub for high-tech and bioscience industries.
To honor this achievement, our Mayor, Joseph C. Winfield, has declared January 22, 2025, as Roche Tissue Diagnostics 40th Anniversary Celebration Day in Oro Valley. We’re proud to celebrate this special occasion with them!
