Share Your Thoughts on Oro Valley’s New Park Plans

Hey Oro Valley neighbors!

The Parks and Recreation Department wants your input on five exciting new concept plans as part of the Town’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan. These plans are now available on the Town’s website, and your thoughts and questions are welcome until December 18, 2020.

To see the plans, head over to the Town’s website. Once there, click on “Parks Master Plan individual site feedback” to check out the five concept plans listed towards the bottom of the page. Each plan is available as a PDF for easy viewing.

After you’ve had a look, you can join the conversation. Simply click on “Discussions” at the bottom of the page to leave a comment or ask questions about the concept plan that interests you. Remember, you’ll need to provide your name and email address to join in.

Why is this important? Over the past year, the Parks and Recreation Department has been hard at work collecting community input and conducting a needs assessment. The goal is to create a dynamic Parks and Recreation Master Plan, which includes individual plans for the Community Center, James D. Kriegh Park, Riverfront Park, Naranja Park, and Steam Pump Ranch.

To dive deeper into the background, you can read more about this project here.

For any questions or additional information, feel free to reach out to AskOV at [email protected]. Your feedback is a big part of shaping our community’s future parks!
