Oro Valley Battle of the Bands is Back!
Get ready for a night of music and fun at the Oro Valley Battle of the Bands! This free concert is happening on Friday, May 17, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Riverfront Park Amphitheater, located at 551 W. Lambert Lane. Featuring talented students from local high schools, the event promises an exciting evening as each band rocks a three-song setlist.
Three bands will battle it out for the top spot, and the winning band will be awarded a free recording session at Luna Recording Studio. A panel of judges will decide the winner, including Gary Nardo, owner of Luna Recording Studio; Kyanna Rosario, Miss Oro Valley Latina; members of the Oro Valley Youth Advisory Council; and a representative from Jonas Hunter Productions, the sound company for the event.
Admission to the concert is free, and there will be food trucks on site with tasty treats available for purchase. Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the show comfortably.
