Oro Valley Rolls Out New Website for Adopt-A-Road/Trail Programs
Good news for community-minded folks in Oro Valley! The town has just launched a handy new website for its Adopt-A-Road and Adopt-A-Trail programs. This means it’s now easier than ever to lend a hand in keeping our local roads and trails looking their best.
The new site is designed to be a one-stop shop for volunteers. You can fill out forms and watch training videos without leaving the comfort of your home. That’s right—there’s no need to head to town offices anymore. Everything you need is online, making the process completely paperless.
In the past, volunteers had to deal with lengthy waiting lists—sometimes stretching from six months to a year. Now, with the updated website, those waits are a thing of the past. You can instantly see which roads and trails are available for adoption.
The Oro Valley staff has been hard at work perfecting these programs for over a year now. “This major renovation of the Adopt-A-Road/Trail programs showcases the best in town-wide teamwork,” shared Public Works Director Paul Keesler. “We’ve made it simpler for everyone to join in, while also saving time and resources. I’m proud of our team’s efforts and thrilled with the outcome.”

These programs are part of the Keep OV Beautiful initiative. Whether you’re an individual, a family, or part of a group looking for a long-term commitment, Adopt-A-Road/Trail lets you take care of a specific road or trail for two years. Want something more short-term? The Keep OV Beautiful program is perfect for groups keen on single-day litter cleanup events.
