On February 12, 2019, just after midnight, the Oro Valley Police Department (OVPD) responded to a call at a home on East Brearley Drive. When the officers arrived, they found a woman who had passed away inside the home. At the time, two young children were also present in the house.
The situation is being treated as suspicious, so OVPD detectives are thoroughly investigating the case. They are working closely with the Office of the Medical Examiner and are waiting for more forensic evidence to come through. As of now, no arrests have been made.
This investigation is still ongoing, and you’ll notice a police presence at the scene. The name of the victim is not being released at the moment. Rest assured, there’s no threat to the public, as everything is contained within the residence.
