Get Ready for the Fourth Annual Summer 5K in Oro Valley!
Mark your calendars and dust off your running shoes! The much-anticipated fourth annual summer 5K is just around the corner, and it’s set to be a fun-filled event for the whole community. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or prefer a leisurely stroll, everyone is welcome, including walkers and those with strollers.
Event Details:
When: Sunday, June 23, from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. (You can register on race day starting at 5 a.m.)
Where: Steam Pump Ranch, located at 10901 N. Oracle Road
The race kicks off at Steam Pump Ranch and follows a scenic route heading east towards Catalina State Park. There are prizes for the top male and female finishers, as well as awards for different age groups. Best of all, your participation supports the Town’s Round Up For Youth Recreation Scholarship Program.
Local favorite, Savaya Coffee, is back as a sponsor, keeping you fueled with delicious coffee. After the race, cool down with a refreshing 6 oz. Eegees, free for all race entrants! If you’re craving more, additional Eegees will be available for purchase.
Registration and Fees:
Register in advance for just $20 or pay $25 on the day of the race. Kids 12 and under can join for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Sign up now to secure your spot: Register here.
You can pick up your race number on Saturday, June 22, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Oro Valley Community Center Arizona Room, located at 10555 N. La Cañada Dr., Oro Valley, AZ 85737.
