Oro Valley: HiVE Enforcement Actions Set for September

The Oro Valley Police Department is stepping up its efforts to keep our roads safe this September with its “High Visibility Enforcement” program. They’re focusing on Oracle Road and Magee Road, aiming to raise awareness and cut down on accidents caused by speeding, distracted driving, tailgating, and not yielding.

You’ll see more motorcycle officers and traffic units out on these roads. They’ll be conducting these safety checks on Tuesday, September 24, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and again on Friday, September 27, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. So be sure to drive carefully and keep an eye out for these patrols.

For any questions or concerns about this initiative or traffic matters in Oro Valley, feel free to reach out to Lt. John Teachout at 229-4923. The OVPD is here to help us all stay safe on the road.
