The Oro Valley Police Department is gearing up for its “High Visibility Enforcement” campaign this April and May on Oracle Road and Magee. This initiative aims to boost awareness and cut down on accidents caused by speeding, not paying attention, tailgating, and failing to yield.
Motorcycle officers will be out on the streets on specific dates. You can expect to see them from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, and Wednesday, May 29. They’ll also be around from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2. On Tuesday, May 14, the focus will be on distracted driving, with officers out again from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Residents are encouraged to be mindful of these efforts and drive safely. If you have questions or concerns about traffic in Oro Valley, feel free to reach out to Lt. John Teachout at 229-4900.
