Join Oro Valley in Shaping Our Future: OV’s Path Forward!
Oro Valley is embarking on an exciting journey to craft a new 10-year plan: OV’s Path Forward! This initiative aims to capture our community’s vision and strategies for important areas like public safety, the environment, parks, water, development, housing, and employment.
We’re inviting everyone—residents, business owners, and community members—to join in and share your thoughts. You can add your voice by visiting our online platform at OVPathForward.com or attend local events and discussions happening at various venues around town.
As we gather input, we want to hear your thoughts on several key questions that will define Oro Valley’s future vision and values. Mayor Joe Winfield emphasized during the annual State of the Town Address that community involvement is crucial in turning our shared vision into reality. You can watch his address for more insights here.
This new initiative follows the successful 2016 “Your Voice, Our Future” Plan, where we’ve already completed, maintained, or are actively pursuing 96 percent of the outlined actions. Only four percent of these actions are left to be prioritized over the next three years.
“The General Plan serves as our guiding star, shaped by the voices of our citizens,” Mayor Winfield stated. “We aim to harness the momentum from our success with the 2016 plan to move forward into the next decade.”
