The Town of Oro Valley is excited to share that the Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) is now online for everyone to access.
Every year, the Town rolls out an Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), which dives deep into Oro Valley’s financial nuts and bolts. You can check it out here. However, because it’s pretty detailed and hefty, it might not be the easiest read for everyone.
To make things clearer and more digestible, the Town publishes the Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR). This report simplifies the ACFR, giving you the important highlights in a friendly format. You can find it here.
The PAFR covers the Town’s accomplishments, financial health, including net assets, operational activities, revenues, expenditures, and debt. It offers a snapshot of Oro Valley’s fiscal performance and achievements over the past year.
Oro Valley’s Finance Department continues to shine, recently earning the prestigious Triple Crown designation from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the 12th year in a row. This award is given to governments that hit the mark in all three GFOA award programs in one fiscal year. Only 356 governments snagged this title in 2023, and Oro Valley is proud to be one of them. For more on this achievement, visit here.
Dave Gephart, Oro Valley’s Chief Financial Officer, shared his pride in the team’s dedication to transparency and financial reporting excellence. “I’m proud to lead a team of dedicated professionals who prioritize making key financial information accessible for our community,” he said.
