Exciting news for Oro Valley! Our town is about to roll out a new way for Water and Stormwater Utility customers to pay their bills and manage accounts online. To get ready for the switch, the current customer portal will be turned off at 9 a.m. on Friday, August 26. But don’t worry, it won’t be down for long; the new portal will be up and running by Monday, August 29. During this brief downtime, you won’t be able to access your accounts online or make any payments.
Once the new portal is live, you’ll need your last bill handy. The payment amount on this bill will serve as your registration code to set up online payments. If you can’t find your bill, just give the Water Utility a call to get your account sorted out. Keep an eye out for another update about this new portal during the week of August 29.
Changes in Billing Cycles
But that’s not all—there are changes coming to the billing cycle dates, too. From now on, bills will be sent out on the 7th of each month and will be due on the 28th. Expect your first bill with this new timing around the week of September 12.
To help everyone get accustomed to the new system, the Water Utility won’t charge late fees or shut off water for unpaid bills in September and October. Regular late fees and shutoffs for overdue accounts will start again on November 1, 2022. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to the Water Utility at 520-229-5000 or email them at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).
