Oro Valley Earns Gold Bicycle Friendly Business Award
The Town of Oro Valley has just pedaled its way to a Gold Bicycle Friendly Business award, thanks to the League of American Bicyclists. Oro Valley previously held a Silver designation, so this is an exciting upgrade for our community.
This recognition places Oro Valley among 1,118 businesses, government agencies, and big-name companies nationwide that are committed to creating a more bike-friendly environment. It’s not just about promoting cycling—it’s about making workplaces safer, healthier, and more sustainable for everyone.
“We’re thrilled to honor Oro Valley and other forward-thinking businesses for fostering bike-friendly environments,” said Amelia Neptune, director of the Bicycle Friendly America program. “These efforts contribute significantly to building a more bicycle-friendly America.”
Our town’s dedication to bicycling means access to a suite of tools and technical support from the League of American Bicyclists. This assistance aims to help Oro Valley enhance its cycling initiatives even further.
