Oro Valley Votes: Mayor and Council Members Retain Their Seats
Good news for our Oro Valley community! On Thursday, August 18, the Town Council officially adopted the results of the 2022 Oro Valley Primary Election, which was managed by the Pima County Elections Department.
We’re thrilled to announce that our current Mayor, Joe Winfield, has been re-elected and will continue to lead us for another four years. Alongside him, councilmembers Melanie Barrett, Joyce Jones-Ivey, and Josh Nicolson have also been voted back to their seats. A big congratulations to Mayor Winfield, Vice Mayor Barrett, and Councilmembers Jones-Ivey and Nicolson!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who cast their vote. Your participation is what keeps our community thriving. The newly re-elected councilmembers will be officially sworn in on November 16, 2022, at the regular Council meeting. Mark your calendars!
