Celebrate Men’s Health Month in Oro Valley
Men’s Health Month is here, and it’s about more than just men. When men are healthy, it benefits everyone around them—spouses, children, colleagues, and friends. A healthy family is a happy family, and this month, we’re all about celebrating the role of health and wellness in our lives.
At the recent Town Council meeting, Mayor Joe Winfield declared June 2019 as Men’s Health Month in Oro Valley. In his proclamation, he emphasized the importance of preventive health measures, stating that men who understand the value of these practices are more likely to engage in health screenings and live longer, healthier lives.
To celebrate, the Town of Oro Valley is offering a special treat. On Sunday, June 16, you can enjoy free admission to various local facilities during regular business hours. This offer is open to everyone, regardless of gender, age, or fitness level. So, mark your calendar and take part in this fantastic opportunity!
Can’t make it on June 16? No worries! The Oro Valley Parks and Recreation Department has more free events lined up at Steam Pump Ranch, located at 10901 N. Oracle Road, throughout June.
