Join Oro Valley: Serve on a Board or Commission

Get Involved in Oro Valley’s Local Government

If you’ve ever wanted to have a say in how our lovely town is run, serving on a board or commission is a great way to get involved. Oro Valley offers many chances for residents to engage with local government and make a difference in areas that matter to them. Whether you’re interested in historic preservation, stormwater management, or zoning adjustments, there’s likely a board or commission that’s a perfect fit for you.

To get started, you’ll need to fill out an application. Remember, these positions are appointed by the Mayor and Town Council, but it all begins with your application. To qualify, you must be a resident of Oro Valley, be able to attend the necessary meetings, and be committed to completing the Town’s Community Academy during your term.

Curious about current vacancies? You can find a list of openings and more details on how to apply on Oro Valley’s website.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Deputy Clerk Michelle Stine. She’s available by email at [email protected] or by phone at 520-229-4744. She’ll be happy to help you with any inquiries you might have.
