Oro Valley Residents: Share Your Thoughts on Local Intersection Project
Hello, Oro Valley neighbors! The town is looking for your input on proposed changes to the intersection at La Cañada Drive and Moore Road. This project aims to enhance safety for both drivers and pedestrians.
Back in January, Oro Valley held an open house and residents were evenly divided between installing a traffic signal or a roundabout. After further study, an engineering consultant and the Town Engineer now recommend a roundabout.
Before moving forward, Town Manager Mary Jacobs wants to hear from you. Here’s how you can share your thoughts:
Online Survey
Your opinion matters! Participate in a quick online survey by visiting orovalleyaz.gov and clicking the big banner at the top. The survey wraps up at midnight on Sunday, December 2. It includes a video that gives a great overview of the project and proposed solutions.
Public Meeting
Join us for a public meeting on Monday, December 3 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 11000 N. La Cañada Drive. Town Manager Mary Jacobs will discuss survey results and listen to public comments. It’s a perfect opportunity to voice your thoughts in person!
If you can’t make the meeting or complete the survey, don’t worry. You can still share your feedback by reaching out to Jessica Hynd, our Constituent Services Coordinator, at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) or call 520-229-4711.
