Get Ready for the Hot Cocoa 5K Fun in Oro Valley!
Hey Oro Valley! It’s not too late to lace up your running shoes and join the eleventh annual Hot Cocoa 5K Run/Walk on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. This event kicks off at Steam Pump Ranch and offers a scenic route along the multi-use path.
You’ll be greeted with post-race goodies like snacks, water, fun giveaways, and of course, a warm cup of hot cocoa. The race is professionally timed, with prizes for top finishers in various categories. Plus, your participation supports Oro Valley’s Round Up for Youth Recreation Scholarship program.
In addition to the race, enjoy a pizza lunch, kids’ crafts, and an exciting obstacle course from Body Fit Training (BFT). It’s the perfect way to start the new year!
5K Run/Walk Details
– When: Wednesday, January 1, race starts at 11:25 a.m.
– Where: Steam Pump Ranch, 10901 N. Oracle Road.

Registration Details
– Race Fee: $35 if you register by December 18; $40 after. Kids 12 and under race free with a paying adult. All participants get swag!
– Packet Pickup: Drop by Fleet Feet Oro Valley at 7607 N Oracle Rd #121 on December 31 from noon to 3 p.m. You can also pick up your number and register on race day at Steam Pump Ranch starting at 9 a.m.

Cheers Challenge
Feeling adventurous? Join the Marana Egg Nog Jog and Oro Valley Hot Cocoa 5K for the Cheers Challenge and earn an exclusive finisher medal! Register for both events, and after completing them, you’ll receive your medal at the end of the Hot Cocoa 5K. Don’t forget to bring your Egg Nog race bib for proof. Sign up for the Marana Egg Nog Jog happening on New Year’s Eve.
