Growing up in Oregon after being born in Oklahoma, Don Driggars always had a keen eye for the natural beauty surrounding him. From a young age, he felt a strong urge to capture the peace and joy he found in nature and express it through art.
During his senior year at Roseburg High School, Don discovered his talent for painting. This newfound passion led him to Clark College in Vancouver, Washington, where he honed his skills in drawing and painting. Over the years, he learned from renowned artists like Doris Bedel, Sharon Rickerts, and Delores Roos. His dedication paid off as he won numerous awards and gained recognition for his work.
Don’s art has been showcased throughout Oregon and Washington, and he is currently represented in six galleries across Oregon and Arizona. His subjects range from landscapes and florals to seascapes and cityscapes, but he particularly loves capturing people and places from his travels. He often refers to his paintings as “Moments of My Life,” capturing scenes that hold personal memories and meanings.
