Oro Valley Celebrates Child Support Awareness Month
In August, Oro Valley is joining the nation in celebrating Child Support Awareness Month. This month is all about highlighting the importance of child support services in boosting the economic stability and well-being of our children.
Here in Arizona, we’re proud to be strong advocates for our children’s safety and security. It’s clear that kids who receive both emotional and financial support tend to feel safer and more secure. This, in turn, gives them the courage to thrive in life.
The Department of Economic Security Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) is at the forefront of these efforts. They’re dedicated to putting Arizona’s children first by serving families with excellence, respect, integrity, and kindness. The DCSS also promotes shared parenting responsibilities. They believe that every child benefits when both parents are involved, regardless of their marital status.
This month, we salute all the committed parents who not only spend precious time with their children but also make regular child support payments to secure their children’s future.
Mayor Joseph C. Winfield has officially proclaimed August 2020 as Child Support Awareness Month in Oro Valley.
