The Oro Valley Community & Recreation Center (CRC) has decided to delay its reopening until Monday, October 5. Originally set to open on September 28, the CRC chose to wait after reviewing Arizona Department of Health Services’ weekly data. With one of Pima County’s COVID-19 transmission benchmarks reaching a substantial level, the decision aims to ensure a safe and sustainable reopening, avoiding a quick closure or any spikes in cases.
Oro Valley’s Road Preservation Efforts: What to Expect This Fall
During the recent Town Council meeting on September 16, Oro Valley’s Town Manager, Mary Jacobs, proudly announced that three of the town’s departments have been honored with awards from Arizona Associations. These include the Arizona Planning Association, the American Public Works Association – Arizona Chapter, and the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association.
The Town of Oro Valley has some exciting news! They’ve just released an informative video on their website, starting a public conversation about a proposed annexation, General Plan amendment, and rezoning. The focus is on the potential annexation of the Westward Look Resort into Oro Valley, without involving any other properties.
