Oro Valley: Stay Safe This Back-to-School Season!

The Oro Valley Police Department (OVPD) wants to give everyone a friendly reminder that most schools in the area are kicking off a new school year next week. With this in mind, it’s important to be extra cautious while driving, as more kids will be out and about, walking and biking to school.

Expect to see more vehicles and pedestrians around schools as the new term begins. It might be a good idea to set your alarm a bit earlier and allow some extra time for your morning commute because traffic could be heavier than usual. Rest assured, there will be more police officers around school zones to help keep everyone safe.
