ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (Feb. 24, 2025) – The Town of Oro Valley is thrilled to announce the launch of OV Trails Connect, an initiative driven by residents aimed at enhancing Oro Valley’s trails and multi-use path network. This effort will guide us in improving connectivity, spotting enhancement opportunities, and ensuring that our trails and paths serve everyone, regardless of their abilities.

We invite all residents to get involved by sharing your thoughts and ideas. Whether you enjoy strolling, rolling, hiking, trotting, or running—we want your input to help create the future of Oro Valley’s paths and trails! You can share your opinions through an online survey, participate in a trailside chat, and sign up for the Trails Stakeholder Group in March. Plus, residents can interact through mapping tools and provide comments at www.OVTrailsConnect.com. Your voice matters in this planning effort!

Take the OV Trails Connect survey today! We encourage everyone to get involved and help us enhance connectivity in Oro Valley!

How to Get Involved:

“Community involvement is essential in shaping the future of Oro Valley’s trails and multi-use paths,” said Bayer Vella, Town of Oro Valley Planning Division Manager. “OV Trails Connect will help create a vision and action plan that reflects both the immediate and long-term needs of those who use our paths and trails.”

Your input will play a crucial role in determining the project’s recommendations for future connectivity, comfort features like shade and seating, as well as aesthetic touches such as landscaping and public art.

OV Trails Connect will specifically focus on the following:

This initiative is a separate planning effort from the OV’s Path Forward 2026 General Plan update, concentrating solely on trails and multi-use paths. By ensuring public involvement, we can prioritize community voices in developing a plan that will guide future Town decisions and initiatives. Upon completion, the plan will serve as a strategic roadmap for future improvements and investments in Oro Valley’s trails and multi-use path network.
