Oro Valley Celebrates 50 Years with a Shop Local Campaign
In honor of Oro Valley’s 50th birthday, the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with 50 local businesses for a year-long shop local campaign. This exciting initiative kicks off on Monday, February 5, 2024.
Every two weeks, a new set of local businesses will be in the spotlight. During their featured period, head out to these businesses, support them, and enter their raffles. At the end of each two weeks, a lucky winner will be drawn from each business’s raffle box. Check out the full “50 Businesses for 50 Years” schedule and details at orovalleychamber.com.
Shoppers could win unique prizes from each business or score one of 50 amazing grand prize bundles from the Chamber. These bundles include a cozy one-night stay and breakfast for two at El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort, two passes to the beautiful Tohono Chul Gardens, Gallery & Bistro, a $25 gift card to Noble Hops, and a trendy Stanley-style Chamber mug.
Kristen Sharp, President & CEO of the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce, shared her enthusiasm about the program, saying, “Strong businesses are the backbone of a healthy community. We’re thrilled to celebrate Oro Valley’s vibrant business scene over the last 50 years.”
How to Join In:
1. Visit and Support: Discover and explore the featured businesses during their spotlight weeks. Keep an eye out for the changing lineup.
2. Enter the Raffle: Dive into the unique products and services each business offers and enter the raffle. Remember, one entry per visit.
3. Win and Pick Up: Winners will be drawn at the end of each two-week period and contacted. You’ll have two weeks to claim your prize.
Featured Businesses, Feb. 5-18:
Swing by the highlighted businesses between February 5 and 18 to enter the raffle. A fresh batch of businesses will be featured every two weeks. Stay updated on the schedule by following the Oro Valley Chamber on Facebook and Instagram, or visiting orovalleychamber.com.
