MONSTER MASH
Join us for a fantastic Halloween bash on Friday, October 8, at Steam Pump Ranch, located at 10901 North Oracle Road. From 5 to 8 p.m., enjoy a pumpkin decorating station, an exciting maze, jumping castles, and a spooky movie scavenger hunt. Local groups will also host Halloween crafts and candy booths. Don’t forget to get your all-inclusive ticket for just $5 at PlayOV.com. Feeling active? On Your Left Fitness is organizing a spooky 5k/10k run (with a fee). Kids 12 and under can join a fun run for free, dressed in their best costumes! Secure your spot and maybe win a prize by registering here.
HAUNTED HAYRIDES
Come experience the eerie charm of the Haunted Hayrides at Steam Pump Ranch on Saturdays—October 9, 16, 23, and 30. The rides start at 7 p.m. (ending at 9:30 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. on October 30), and are a unique way to enjoy Southwest ghost stories acted out along a spooky hayride route. Tickets are $5 and can be grabbed at PlayOV.com. Little ones aged 3 and under can ride for free on a paying adult’s lap. Please keep in mind the hayride might be a bit too spooky for some youngsters!
HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR
Mark your calendar for the Halloween Spooktacular at the Oro Valley Community & Recreation Center, 10555 North La Cañada Drive, on Friday, October 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. This free event will feature games, crafts, and a treat lane where local businesses will hand out candy. A DJ will keep the party lively while kids show off their costumes. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. If your business wants to join in on the fun with a trunk or treat golf cart, call 520-544-1900, option 3, or register at PlayOV.com.
Parking is limited at the Community Center, so please park at Oro Valley Town Hall, 11000 North La Cañada Drive, and walk to the event. Traffic will be directed by Oro Valley Police for everyone’s safety.
MONSTERS AT THE MOVIES: TEEN ONLY MOVIE NIGHT
Teens, this one’s for you! On Saturday, October 30, from 7 to 9 p.m., head to the Oro Valley Community Center for a free screening of “Lights Out” on the big screen at the driving range. This event, hosted by Oro Valley’s Youth Advisory Council, includes free pizza, making for a perfect spooky night out. Teens aged 13-19 are welcome to come enjoy a night of fright and fun!
