Celebrate Oro Valley’s 50th Anniversary Parade This Saturday!

Join the Celebration: Oro Valley’s 50th Anniversary Parade!

Hey, Oro Valley friends and visitors! This Saturday, April 6, 2024, marks a day of celebration as we kick off our 50th Anniversary Parade. The festivities start bright and early at 9 a.m. and will wrap up around 11:30 a.m. The parade route begins near Ironwood Ridge High School, making its way east along Naranja Drive, and finishes at the Oro Valley Public Library.

Expect a lively lineup featuring our community’s best, including the Canyon del Oro High School marching band, CDO pom line, and the spirited Ironwood Ridge High School cheer squad. You’ll also see local dance troupes, youth sports teams, scout groups, churches, and businesses, along with our Town Councilmembers, all joining in on the fun.

Heads up! Naranja Drive will experience some traffic delays from 5 a.m. until the parade concludes around 11:30 a.m. The street will be closed from Shannon Road to La Cañada Drive, so plan your routes accordingly and drive with care. The Oro Valley Police Department will be on hand to assist you with neighborhood exits. For a detailed map of the parade route and road closures, click here.

You won’t want to miss all the action from the parade announcer’s stage, which will be set up at the northwest corner of Naranja and La Cañada.

Special thanks go out to our generous parade sponsors!
