Oro Valley Releases Easy-to-Read Financial Report
Hey Oro Valley residents! We’ve got some great news to share. The Town of Oro Valley has just released its Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018. This report is a fantastic way for you to get a quick and clear picture of how our town is doing financially.
Every year, Oro Valley prepares a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). While it’s packed with detailed information about our town’s finances, it can be a bit overwhelming to read. That’s why back in 2012, Oro Valley started putting together the PAFR. This award-winning report takes the highlights from the CAFR and presents them in a more reader-friendly format.
Stacey Lemos, Oro Valley’s Chief Financial Officer, explains, “Our Popular Annual Financial Report gives residents an easy-to-read summary of our financial health, based on the audited financial statements and adopted budget.” You can find this report along with other financial documents on the Town’s website. Just head over to Oro Valley Finance Documents to check them out.
The PAFR covers everything from accomplishments, net assets, and activities to revenues, expenditures, and our financial ratings. It even provides a snapshot of historical trends in these areas.
