Get Ready for Fall Road Work in Oro Valley
Good news for drivers in Oro Valley! The Town’s Public Works Department is gearing up for the final phase of its fall pavement preservation project. Starting November 15 and running through December 3, 2021—weather permitting—you’ll see crews hard at work giving our roads some much-needed TLC.
This project is a big deal because it helps extend the life of our roads without the hefty cost of full asphalt replacements. It’s all part of a data-driven, Council-funded program that prioritizes roads based on their treatment or construction history.
Heads up if your street is scheduled for treatment: you won’t be able to drive on it for 24 hours once it’s done. Residents in these areas will get a door notice with all the details a couple of days ahead. Make sure to plan accordingly and keep an eye out for traffic signs. Our construction workers appreciate your patience and cooperation!
If you have any questions or need more details, give Civil Engineering Technician Walter Jackson a call at 520-940-1879.
