Oro Valley’s State of the Town Address on Oct. 25

Oro Valley Gears Up for State of the Town Address

Get ready, Oro Valley! Mayor Joe Winfield is all set to deliver his fifth State of the Town Address on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. This much-anticipated event will be held at the El Conquistador Tucson, a Hilton Resort, with the luncheon kicking off at 11:30 a.m.

In his address, Mayor Winfield will reflect on the past year’s achievements and discuss the exciting initiatives, projects, and partnerships that are propelling Oro Valley forward. One key focus will be the upcoming public engagement process for the 2026 General Plan.

Journalists are welcome to attend, and there’s an opportunity to schedule interviews with Mayor Winfield after his speech.

This event marks the 22nd annual State of the Town Address, organized by the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce. It’s not just about speeches, though. Starting at 9 a.m., you can explore the largest business expo in Oro Valley. With over 170 local businesses and organizations participating, including 75 showcase booths, it’s a prime spot to connect with the community. The expo is free and open to everyone, but you’ll need a ticket for the luncheon. If you have questions, feel free to contact the Chamber at 520-297-2191. The event is proudly sponsored by Realtor Lisa Bayless with Long Realty.

Can’t make it to the address? No worries! A full video and transcript will be posted in early November at orovalleyaz.gov.
