Arrest Made in Oro Valley Tragedy
Oro Valley residents were shocked by the tragic death of Laurie Draegeth on March 6, 2019. Her husband, Trevor Draegeth, 37, has been arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.
Initially, Trevor called 911, reporting that Laurie had committed suicide. However, when officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Laurie with clear gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead on arrival.
After a thorough investigation, the police found enough evidence to arrest Trevor. The investigation is still active, and more details will be shared as they become available.
The couple’s two young children were asleep during this tragic event. They are now safely staying with extended family members.
