Get Ready for the Rescheduled Battle of the Bands in Oro Valley!
Great news for music lovers in Oro Valley! The much-anticipated Battle of the Bands is back on the calendar for Friday, May 19. This lively, free event will take place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Riverfront Park amphitheater, located at 551 W. Lambert Lane.
The evening promises an exciting lineup with four talented local high school bands. Students from Canyon Del Oro High School, Ironwood High School, Tucson High School, and Sahuaro High School will each perform a three-song setlist. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some great music and cheer on young musicians from our community!
A panel of judges will be on hand to select the winning band, who will earn a recording session with Luna Recording Studio. Prizes will also be awarded for second and third place, making for an exciting and competitive night.
Admission is free, and you won’t go hungry as there will be food trucks offering delicious options for purchase. To make yourself comfortable, remember to bring a lawn chair or blanket. It’s a great chance to relax, enjoy some tunes, and show your support for the talented bands.
