Oro Valley Mayor Dr. Satish I. Hiremath is set to deliver his ninth and final State of the Town Address to a packed audience. The event will take place on Friday, September 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton El Conquistador Resort. Media members are welcome to join as Mayor Hiremath shares his reflections on the leadership that has contributed to Oro Valley’s current successes.
This year, Arizona State University and the University of Arizona are the proud co-sponsors of the event. Dr. Taylor W. Lawrence, President of Raytheon Missile Systems, will be the special guest speaker. Adding a ceremonial touch, the Oro Valley Police Department and the Golder Ranch Fire District color guards will present the colors. Katie Kosecki, co-owner of Which Wich Sandwiches here in Oro Valley, will sing the National Anthem.
The event is hosted by the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce and starts with a Business Expo at 10 a.m. This expo will showcase over 50 local businesses and organizations.
