Oro Valley Gears Up for July 4th Fireworks Celebration
This July 4th, the Town of Oro Valley invites everyone to enjoy a dazzling fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day! While we won’t have an in-person event this year due to health and safety measures, the fireworks show promises to light up the sky beginning at 9 p.m. for around 20 minutes. The fireworks will be launched from Naranja Park, located at 810 W. Naranja Drive.
To ensure everyone has a great view from a safe distance, we’re using larger fireworks shells this time. This means a bigger safety zone around the area, so Naranja Park will be closed to the public on July 4th starting from 10 a.m. This closure includes the park’s playground, sports fields, dog parks, archery facilities, trails, and ridges. We appreciate your understanding as we make safety our top priority.
For those who might not have a clear view from home or prefer to stay in the cool indoors, you can catch the full fireworks show live on Facebook Live through the Town’s official page: *Town of Oro Valley – Government.*
A big thank you to our sponsor, Lisa Bayless | Realtor | Long Realty, for making this year’s event possible.
Note for Residents Near Naranja Park:
If you or your pets are sensitive to noise, especially the booming sounds of fireworks, you might want to consider making alternate plans from 9 to 9:30 p.m. on July 4th.
