Summer is here, and Oro Valley Parks and Recreation has an array of activities lined up for families to enjoy. Whether you’re searching for exciting summer camps, free events, or great deals at local spots, we’ve got you covered! Here’s what’s happening:

Oro Valley Aquatic Center

Beat the Southern Arizona heat at the Oro Valley Aquatic Center! It’s the perfect place to cool off with plenty of water fun.

$5 Sunday Family Fun Days
Starting May 21 through July 30, bring the whole family (up to six people) to the OV Aquatic Center for just $5 every Sunday. Splash around in the Olympic pool, zoom down water slides, or relax in the shaded bleachers. There’s something for everyone!

Dive-In Series for Teens
Teens aged 13-19 can enjoy the free dive-in series, complete with pizza, soda, and Eegees. These fun evenings are scheduled from 7 to 10 p.m., so mark your calendars!

Memberships & Discounts
Planning to visit often? A Family Membership is just $60 per month, offering unlimited access for families up to six people. In May, new memberships at both the Aquatic Center and Community and Recreation Center have waived activation fees. Check out PlayOV.com for all the details.

Community Events

Movies on the Lawn – Free
Head to the Oro Valley Community and Recreation Center at 10555 N. La Cañada Drive for a movie night under the stars. Movies start at 7:30 p.m. after sundown, so grab a blanket or chair and enjoy.

Second Saturdays at Steam Pump Ranch – Free
Don’t miss the last event of the season on June 10 from 8 a.m. to noon at 10901 N. Oracle Road. Enjoy the Heirloom Farmers Market, craft booths, kid crafts, and historic tours. Second Saturdays will return in the fall, but the Heirloom Farmers Market continues throughout summer.

Round Up at the Ranch 5K
Join the run at Steam Pump Ranch on June 18 at 6 a.m. Registration is $30 in advance or $40 on race day. Kids 12 and under race free with a paying adult. For more info, visit orovalleyaz.gov and search for ROUND UP.

Save the Date! July 4th Celebration – Free
Celebrate Independence Day at James D. Kriegh Park, 23 W. Calle Concordia, from 5 to 9 p.m. There will be fireworks, family activities, food trucks, live music, and discounted Aquatic Center admission. Stay tuned for more details!
