— The Town of Oro Valley is inviting all residents to join in and discover more about our financial priorities.
The Town Council has scheduled Budget Study Sessions for Wednesday, April 30, and Monday, May 5, both starting at 6 p.m. Additionally, the Budget and Finance Commission will go over the budget on Tuesday, May 20, at 4 p.m. All of these meetings will take place in Council Chambers at the Oro Valley Town Hall complex, located at 11000 N. La Cañada Drive.
These sessions are open to everyone and are a great way to help shape the financial framework for the upcoming fiscal year. Your feedback is crucial in guiding the decisions that impact Town services, infrastructure, and long-term investments.
“This year, we will review capital improvement projects and the Capital Fund on April 30, followed by a focus on the Town operational budget on May 5,” said Town Manager Jeff Wilkins. “These are five opportunities for you to engage directly in the Town of Oro Valley’s budget process.”
In alignment with the Town Council’s priorities, the Town Manager is working closely with an interdepartmental committee to craft a flat budget plan. They are meticulously reviewing budgets line-by-line with each department director to prepare the Town Manager’s Recommended Budget proposal. The next two years pose some revenue challenges due to lowered projections for State Revenue Share with the Town.

If you attend Public Hearings in-person, feel free to fill out a blue card before the meeting starts. For those participating virtually, please submit an online speaker card at least 24 hours prior to a Public Hearing.
